A Tribute to Yoda by Lisa Sutherland
This is one dramatic block! Veteran’s Day is almost upon us and I’m ready this year with a completed quilt top! What better way to say “thank you” to someone who has served our country than to help to wrap them in warmth and comfort during the cold season ahead.
“A Tribute to Yoda” was designed by Lisa Sutherland and can be found on the official site of Quilts of Valor. You can access the pattern directly by clicking on this link: https://www.qovf.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/A-Tribute-To-Yoda.pdf
This quilt can be made in its entirety or you can choose to make blocks to be donated. Each block requires:
Red: (4) 2 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ strips
White: (2) 2 1/2″ x 12 1/2″ strip, (2) 9″ square, (1) 6 1/2″ square, (2) 6″ square and (1) 3 1/2″ square
Blue: (2) 7 1/2″ square, (2) 4 1/2″ squares, (4) 3 1/2″ square, and (4) 2″ squares
Blocks, quilt tops and completed quilts can be donated to CT Piecemakers Quilt Guild in Trumbull. If you’re not currently a member….you could be! OR use the contact form on the website to get in touch to arrange a drop-off. The contact form can be accessed via this link: https://ctpiecemakers.org/contact-us
