Be the pot of gold

March is the month to wish others well and contemplate just how lucky we are.  We tell each other “May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light, may good luck pursue you morning and night” OR “May your troubles be less and your blessings be more and nothing but happiness come through your door”.  I’ve heard many but my favorite will always be “May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.”

I think we all have a favorite, no matter how long-winded or brief.  Why not try to incorporate your good wishes into a quilt block.  No matter the length of your wish, Golden Threads quilting paper will make the task quick, easy and accurate.  Click the link to read my post “How to write on your quilts” at https://kathynutley.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4537&action=elementor.

An why not experiment with applying foil to your quilt?  The legendary pot of gold over flowing with gold coins.  Visit my post at https://kathynutley.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=4587&action=elementor to learn how.

I’m certain you’ll begin looking to incorporate words into your quilts.  I plan to use this technique in making my next quilt label.

Happy quilting,

Kathy
