Who doesn’t like to decorate their home for the months of Autumn? While going through my stash of patterns I came across one I’ve wanted to make for a long time. Having just finished an Autumn bench pillow I had the perfect stash at hand to make it happen! The pattern even comes with the buttons for the flower centers.
I was able to assemble the front of the piece using pieces of SAS2 other than the jar in a short time. The blanket stitch gave the piece a cozy country feel and the colors are stunning! This piece will be able to hang in my entryway through the final weekend in November. How wonderful to be able to enter the house and see a piece I enjoyed making.
The Fall Country Flowers pattern was first distributed in 2009 by Patchabilities. Older patterns are available randomly on a variety of sites. I was able to find this pattern on ebay at the following link: https://ebay.us/YjNYfh

Hi Kathy
What does SAS2 mean?
Thanks for asking. SAS2 refers to Steam-a-Seam 2, a two-sided fusible used for applique and in art quilting.
