Sketch and Stitch

What is it about coloring that makes it so enjoyable long after we’ve passed through our childhood years?  I began this project by using the QR code provided in the magazine sharing Ana’s apple design.   I copied the design onto PFD fabric using wax free tracing paper.  Us old-schoolers will remember using this tracing paper

Fire Pit Season

Evening in Autumn This piece is in response to a challenge given by the CT Piecemakers Quilt Guild for September 2022.  The theme was “Seasons”.  Autumn always inspires stoking the fire pit and making s’mores with my family.  My husband and I enjoy pulling our chairs next to the fire with something warm to drink.
