
Not everyone enjoys hand-sewing the binding onto a quilt. Here is a fast and easy means of sewing the binding via your machine with neat and tidy results.
Cut your backing fabric and batting to measure at least 2+ inches on all four sides to allow for shrinkage when quilting.
Use a ruler and marking tool to draw a reference line 3/4” from each edge of the quilt top. Do not sew between this reference line and the edge of the quilt. Sandwich, baste as desired and quilt.
With backing facing up, fold all four edges of the backing…..
