Reflections

Designed from a photo I took of my Mom in Longboat Key, Florida.  This piece was chosen as a finalist in the Summer 2022 edition of Quilting Arts magazine.  It is wet felted, needle felted and machine felted.

Summer Getaway

Designed for the Fairfield Fiber exhibit entitled, “Seasons”.  My piece was designed to represent Summer.  The three ants resemble my grandchildren absconding with their favorite summer fruit.

Dream Catcher

I fell in love with a pattern for a bed runner entitled, “Dream Catcher” by Joanne Hoffman.  

The feather pieces are cut from a Hoffman Dream Big panel, raw edge appliqued and free motioned stitched.

This piece is a whole cloth quilt by Hoffman Fabrics entitled, “Dream Big Panel”.  I challenged myself to free motion quilt a different motif in each petal of the flower.

My grand-daughter loves pinks.  I free motioned some of my favorite designs in the petals for her.
